Present-day technology permits the creation of highly-valued fancy chains. Perhaps such chains have replaced the fancy hats, hats that were once the symbol of style and class. More than a century ago, women wore hats with peacock feathers. Now one can find the combination of peacock feathers and fancy chains on the Internet. If that statement surprises you, and if you don’t know where to find that combination, you should take the time to read the following article. Writers of children’s literature can certainly benefit from making note of this article. It reveals a great deal about the plot line for a wonderful children’s story.
One finds advertisements for fancy chains in some quite surprising places. A website that focuses on literacy contains ads for fancy chains. Maybe the operators of that website have read the children’s book titled Just Plain Fancy.
In that book, a young Amish girl finds a strange egg in the nest of a chicken. She takes care of that egg until it hatches. A baby peacock comes out of that egg. After the peacock becomes an adult, the young girl hides the bird from her parents. She can see that the peacock is a very fancy bird. She is afraid that the plain Amish will make her get rid of such a fancy bird.
One day the peacock escapes from its hidden pen. It displays its fancy feathers in front of a large group of adults. The young girl thinks that her elders will want to get rid of the peacock, but she finds out that she is wrong. Why do those Amish adults, adults who disdain fancy chains, approve of that peacock?
They approve of that peacock because its fancy feathers were created by God. A close examination of fancy chains reveals some chains that have a very plain beauty. The beauty in some chains seems to be the work of someone more appreciative of beauty than a mere man.
Take, for example, the opal square that is shown on one of the Internet’s literacy sites. That opal square hangs on a simple chain. Yet the beauty of that opal pendant allows that simple chain to become a fancy chain.
Many of the pendants get their beauty from the gorgeous nature of the simple stones in those pendants. One can find pendants with a single yellow sapphire, a single blue topaz or a single green amethyst. Each of those pendants is considered to be a fancy chain.
